Work Continues at the WPRM – 30 October 2014

Duane Vander Veen arrived this morning to work on the new (to the museum) forklift, and fix the alternator issues. It now functions properly, and charges the battery.

Roger Stabler also showed up, along with Fritz, and they spent a few hours fixing the WPMW 37 crane, as the day warmed up from its rather brisk start. After the use of arms, legs, and long tools, it too now functions once more.

A new governor is now installed in WP 1503, and awaits testing tomorrow, thanks to the combined lifting efforts of Fritz, Duane Vander Veen, and myself. This should resolve issues with the locomotive not loading completely.

The old governor has been removed, and the 1503 awaits the new one.
